Seven
Seven is an operating system project started in 2014 as "BASIS". The project was appropriately renamed "Seven" after its sixth release, with the aim to be a good alternative to Windows and Mac.
Why Seven?
Seven uses the Linux kernel, which is used by hundreds of thousands of supercomputers and servers in the world. It is used in the United States' Department of Defence to even places that are literally out of this world (International Space Station). Additionally, it is also responsible for most of the servers that run the World Wide Web.
The same kernel now runs on Seven, providing the best security, versatility, and reliability. The open-source nature of Linux (which is the operating system kernel) allows you, the user, to gain control of your device. We don't own the computer, you do.
So the question now is, why not Seven?
The operating system is still under development. The first beta will be released in Q4 2018.
Are you ready? Download Seven now.
